Nigerian skit maker and singer Carter Efe has expressed heartbreak after his official TikTok account, which had over 3.5 million followers, was suddenly taken down. The loss appears to be connected to a recent online clash involving Grammy-winning artist Wizkid.
On June 25, 2025, Carter Efe shared the sad news on his official page on X (formerly Twitter), blaming fans of Wizkid – popularly known as Wizkid FC – for the shutdown.
The controversy began during a live session with fellow singer Khaid, where Carter Efe openly criticized Wizkid and shifted support to Davido, saying Wizkid had never acknowledged him despite his viral tribute song “Machala.”
The situation intensified when another clip surfaced online, showing Carter Efe referring to Wizkid as “a boy” and calling him “an idiot,” a statement that quickly caused a stir across social media.
In the now-viral video, Carter Efe said:
“If Machala called me ‘my G,’ then something’s off – like maybe a lion is pregnant. That boy is too full of pride. Idiot.”
Not long after, his TikTok page vanished. Many believe this was a coordinated move by Wizkid’s fanbase in response to his disrespectful comments.
Reacting to the loss, Carter Efe wrote on X:
“TikTok account gone 💔 FC una betray me.”
His comment has since sparked conversations online, with some sympathizing with him and others saying he crossed the line.
