Lt. AM Yerima noticed that he was being watched and followed everywhere he went. It felt like the police were trailing him from place to place. Then, while driving on the highway, a police pick-up suddenly appeared and double-crossed him, blocking his way.
The officers confronted him, shouting, “You’re the one that embarrassed Wike and the police force!” Immediately, Lt. Yerima pressed his panic button to alert the Navy, the Army, and the entire military setup. He also safe guarded himself immediately, incase of any wrong moves.
Within minutes, military personnel arrived in full force, and the police officers quickly fled the scene.
Later, the military traced those same police officers back to their office. Investigations are now ongoing to find out who gave the order to follow and block Lt. Yerima in the first place.
I truly hope this is not what it looks like. This man needs full protection. Ever since that issue involving Wike, it’s possible that some of Wike’s supporters may be targeting him. But they forget that Yerima is not a civilian, he is a senior military officer. He must be protected at all costs.
